Divorce Attorney Jake Landreth

Jake Landreth

Associate

Jake Landreth was born and raised in Holley, Florida, and comes from a long line of Santa Rosa County locals. After graduating from the first graduating class at Navarre High School, Jake spent some time serving with the United States Army with the 10th Mountain Division before graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Classics (Greek and Roman History and Language). He attended the University of Denver for law school and began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney focusing on crimes against children. After several years as a prosecutor, and a short interlude working in property law, Jake took a break from practicing law and spent several years on the US/Mexico border serving as a Border Patrol Agent. The sad effects of aging and an unfortunate disagreement with a horse led Jake back to the practice of law where he now uses his diverse real-world experience to help his clients confront the Florida family law system as a family law attorney with Kenny Leigh and Associates.

When not practicing law, Jake works with several local non-profits, volunteers with the local Chamber of Commerce, and tries to manage the busy schedule of his three children. On occasion he has time to indulge in his love of ancient history and philosophy, cheap science fiction, and the beautiful Emerald Coast.

Jake is admitted to practice law in Florida and Colorado.

Divorce can be horrible. For most people, it’s the most stressful event in their lives —more stressful than the death of a family member.
