Gina Riahi was born in Tehran, Iran. Her family relocated to the Washington D.C. area when she was 9 years old. She attended George Mason University, where she graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor’s degree in criminology, law, and society with a concentration in law.
After completing her Bachelor’s degree she moved to Florida to further her education at NSU Shepard Broad College of Law. She was originally interested in the school’s animal law program but found her true passion after taking part in the family law clinic at NSU. Through the efforts of the clinic, Ms. Riahi and her peers were able to reunite a young child with her father in a case involving international child abduction.
Ms. Riahi joined Kenny Leigh & Associates as a paralegal prior to passing the bar and becoming an attorney. She worked for the director of the South Florida branch while studying for the bar exam and gained invaluable experience.
Ms. Riahi is fluent in Farsi. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and her rescue Pomeranian, Polly.
