Mr. Kohley received a Criminal Justice degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. While there, he was named one of the Top 100 students and served as the Student Government President. In 2010, he graduated law school at Florida Coastal School of Law where he received Honors for his pro bono work. Following graduation, Mr. Kohley practiced Criminal Defense in South Florida for four years as a Public Defender in Palm Beach County.

During that time he was a zealous advocate of his clients’ interests and legal rights. He was a member of the Palm Beach Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and served as both the Secretary and Treasurer of that organization.

In 2014, Mr. Kohley joined Kenny Leigh & Associates. Since joining the firm, he has worked to aggressively represent the interests of our clients and works to find the best outcome for each individual case. In 2015, he was named the Director of our South Florida offices. In 2019 Mr. Kohley was appointed to serve on a Florida Bar Grievance Committee. When not working, he enjoys running and spending time with his wife and daughter.
